Pink Gem Designs new April releases

Good morning everyone, just thought I would give you a quick post to let you know that the April release is now available over at Pink Gem Designs. There are nine new stamps including four new baby designs, four new Mimi designs & Dina Dragon (Denny's girlfriend).

To celebrate we are giving away four free stamps of your choice of any stamps from the Pink Gem Designs range to one lucky winner.

Jem's Challenge 2

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have been such a bad blogger this week, had a lot going on and have been working 12 hour days!

Every month I participate in our Jem's challenge which includes all of my SU sisters and of course my SU mum (Jules). This challenge was the turn of Jeanette, she sent us through a wonderful pack of goodies which I loved using! Its a colour scheme I wouldn't have thought to use, but I love it!

Yep you guessed it, its another Mother's Day Card! I have had about 10 orders for cards and been making to take in to work! I will be glad to see the back of the 'Happy Mothers Day' sentiment stamp!!

Mother's Day Card

Gosh Monday comes around so quickly doesn't it! I hope you have all had a good weekend!

I have had a very busy weekend making Mother's Day Cards as you will be able to tell from my posts this week!

This card has been made using a butterfly stamp from the fabulous Clare Curd range. I have coloured using my Stampin' Up! markers which I water coloured with my water brush! Ribbon is 'certainly celery' with inkadinkado sentiment.

Raspberry Ribbons Ribbon Challenge

Here is this weeks sketch, we also had to use ribbon on our design...

This card has been made using all Stampin' Up! goodies. The image and sentiment stamp are from the Garden Whimsy Set. I have coloured using my Soft Subtles Stampin' Write Markers. The ribbon is Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon. The card stock is all soft subtles. The paper is from the Certainly Celery DP.
I have sponged some ink on to the white card stock and also glittered the flowers.

2 challenges in1...

This week has been a complete nightmare so far! Our computer decided it wanted to stop working on Monday, poor Chris came home last night from work after researching what the problem was and eventually fixed it. I couldn't believe how horrible it was not being able to connect to the Internet for 1 whole day! Silly really isn't it! Had to go on Fire Marshall training yesterday too so was very depressed last night with some of the things they showed us. I will not go in to detail as some of it was sickening!! Anyway enough of me rambling on!

This card is actually going to be entered in to 2 challenges today. The first is the BasicGrey Challenge which is to produce a card using the below sketch for inspiration.

This is my card...the papers are BasicGrey

I am also going to enter this one in to the CCEE Stampers Challenge which is to make a card that is 'Knight' related.

The items used are BasicGrey Papers along with some new papers from My Minds Eye which are gorgeous! The image is a Whiff of Joy stamp from their new Medieval range. The sentiment and ribbon are both Stampin' Up! I have coloured the image using Whispers markers with my Stampin' Up! water brush which is the best!!

My new order from Stampin' Up! has just arrived with all of my new mini goodies! I am off to play!! See you later xxx

A Spoon Full of Sugar

This weeks challenge was 'Torn Edges'. It was quite difficult at first, ended up ripping lots of paper up!! This is what I came up with in the end....

The image is from the 'Fun & Fast Notes stamp set by Stampin' Up! The ribbon is the 'Preety in Pink' Taffeta Ribbon from Stampin' Up! I cannot remember where the backing paper is from as it was old stuff I had! The image has been stamped in Pretty in Pink.

I am being slightly cheeky and also entering this is to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which this week was a recipe. You had to use 3 brads, 2 ribbons and 1 flower on your card.

The card stock is all Stampin' Up! Soft Subtles. The DP is from 'Love Stories' which is my favourite set of all time. You get so much for the price. 12x12 beautiful patterned papers, 12 x 12 card stock in the most gorgeous colours, plus so many stickers and embellishments! Contact me for more details. The green ribbon is Certainly Celery grosgrain. The blue is Bashful Blue Double Stitched both from Stampin' Up!

Cupcake Craft Challenge 29

Well this weeks challenge is to use the below picture as inspiration for a card!

Here is my card....

I absolutely loved this challenge and found it really simple to do. I made this card in about 10 minutes! I love the colours. The stamped images are from a beautiful Laura Ashley set that the gorgeous Steph sent me for my birthday. This is a thank you card that I will be sending to Steph next week! The images are coloured in using my Stampin Write markers in Soft Subtles. I have then embossed some of the flower heads. The sentiment is from the fab Clare Curd's new range of stamps! I love them and cannot wait to get time to make some more cards!

Anyway I have rambled on slightly. This challenge is also my entry to become a member Design Team for the fabulous challenge blog, check it out here....

Steph's Challenge Card

There is a new challenge going on with all of our Julies Jem's where we take it in turns to send the group a card making kit. Everyone gets the same kit. We then all make a card and post it on our blog on a set date and time. Its very exciting as I cannot wait to see what all of the other girlie's come up with!

Steph was the first to send out a kit and I absolutely loved it! She did spoil us though as I still have bits left over! Fab kit Steph honey!

Beautiful Birthday Cards

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post tonight to show off my wonderful birthday cards that my stampin' up sister and mum sent me for my birthday!! The cards are from (left to right) Sarah-Jane, Steph and Jules.

I just want to say a big thank you to you ladies as it really made my birthday opening such gorgeous cards! I also got lots of pressies aswell so thank you!
